Established in 1965, the Norbert Wiesen Foundation is a family-founded grant-maker that gives financial support grants to a wide range of charities worldwide. It is a globally recognized, self-governing entity and among the world’s wealthiest foundations. Our mission is to enhance people’s lives by advancing health and education, and this Financial Support Grant scheme exemplifies our dedication. In total, we donate around £100 million each year.
We take our responsibility seriously to be thoughtful stewards of the funds entrusted to the Foundation, yet aim to maintain a friendly, accessible, and uncomplicated approach.
You don’t have to have applied to us before to be successful and we are open for applications all year round.
Tell us in your application if you need funds to support a specific activity or project. However, you don’t need to create a project for us. If you need unrestricted funds, tell us. We will listen and if we can support you, we will make a grant. It’s that simple.
